Librarian II, Nashville Public Library
Crishuana is very creative. She exercised initiative and came up with eye catching displays for library materials. She is very pleasant—library patrons and library staff enjoy working with her. During her time as a library associate, she hosted a dynamic professional development meeting for Nashville Public Library Adult Services staff that was very interesting and informative.
Adult Services Librarian II, Nashville Public Library
In my work with Crishuana, I found her to be a highly creative, self-motivated, and kind person. For a time, she worked at [my] Branch Library where she provided excellent customer service to patrons of all ages at the reference and circulation desks. She was well regarded by her colleagues and was willing to assist in any capacity needed. After she moved to another branch, Crishuana and I still worked together closely through the Nashville Public Library Seed Exchange project. She very capably managed this project for her branches, from monitoring seed supplies and setting up displays to planning, marketing, and hosting gardening-related programs for teens and adults. In everything she does, Crishuana’s kindness and good humor shine through, making her a joy to work with.
Library Manager III, Nashville Public Library
Crishuana has one of the brightest minds and attitudes of anyone I have ever worked with. She brightens the room by just walking into it, and her attitude is always positive. She can work well with anyone, in any situation, and that is hard to come by. She was always one of the most pleasant people to work with our patrons, even being requested by particular people that she had helped previously. She never minded helping anyone, no matter how much help they needed.
Branch Manager, Nashville Public Library
Crishuana was always thinking of new ways to engage patrons. She created arts and craft programs that taught patrons how to create their own mandalas, how to hand crochet, and color mindfully.
